What You'll Be Doing


As a Support Worker, you'll play an important role in helping young people prepare for independent adulthood.

Your responsibilities will include:

● Delivering structured one-to-one key work sessions focused on agreed outcomes and individual goals

● Developing and reviewing person-centred support plans

● Encouraging independence and teaching essential life skills

● Supporting engagement with education, employment, apprenticeships, and training

● Promoting positive wellbeing, healthy relationships, and social inclusion

● Supporting with budgeting, meal planning, cooking, shopping, and maintaining a safe, clean home

● Completing accurate daily records, incident reports, and key work documentation

● Working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes

● Participating in weekends and contracted sleep-ins as part of the rota

Please note: This role does not involve personal care.

What We're Looking For

Essential

● Minimum 1 year's experience working with vulnerable young people

● Right to work in the UK

● Good communication, literacy, numeracy, and basic IT skills

● Willingness to complete mandatory training and an enhanced DBS check

● Ability to provide two professional references and one character reference

Desirable

● Full UK driving licence

● Access to your own vehicle with business insurance
